No account, no ads, no paid tier, and no plan for one. If the program earns its keep on your jobs and you would like it to keep getting better, chip in whatever you like.
Not a fortune, but not nothing, and all of it comes out of one pocket.
This site, the manual, the downloads, the station the program updates itself from and sends its bug reports to. A yearly bill, plus the domain.
I build it with AI coding tools working from my designs, on subscriptions that cost more every month than the hosting does. They are what lets one person with a day job build a program this size at all.
Every release is nights and weekends: deciding what it should do, testing what came back, answering reports, drawing the manual's pictures. I enjoy it. It is still time.
The big one is SketchUp files. Opening a .skp in Hecker Sketch, so the models people
already have and the ones in the 3D Warehouse can come in and be measured, printed and worked on. The format is
not documented, so it is slow, careful work, and it is the thing I most want the program to do.
Also on the list: a signed Windows build so the download stops scaring people, a native Apple Silicon build, a trim tool, dimensions that follow what they measure, search inside the manual, and the bugs people send in. None of it is behind a paywall and none of it ever will be. Support just makes it come sooner.
Whatever you like, once or now and then. A donation buys nothing but my thanks and more evenings on the program, and the program is the same for everyone.
Straight through PayPal: type an amount, pay with PayPal, Venmo or a card, done. Or through Ko-fi, which takes PayPal and cards too and can be monthly if you want it to be. No account needed on either.
On the Bitcoin network itself, any amount. Scan it or copy the address.
