PDF plans

Choose PDF in the export dialog, then the paper, portrait or landscape, and print scale. ISO A0–A5, ANSI A–E, ARCH A–E and E1/E2/E3, Legal and Engineering F are available. The drawing's print scale is selected initially. The preview shows the drawing area: right-drag to position the drawing. Anything outside it is cropped; it is never silently shrunk to fit.

Use PLAN or a square-on elevation for measurable plans. A turned view shows projected lengths. The PDF includes a matching scale bar, 10 mm margins and a footer. Print using 100% / Actual size, not Fit to page.

PDF uses the same vector geometry as SVG: lines, segmented arcs, face outlines and holes, notes and dimension labels. It stays sharp when enlarged, and text remains selectable. Like SVG, it exports entities in drawing order, not the shaded screen renderer's hidden-line result. The preview is a framing view; shading and hidden edges can differ. Output is one sheet; tiling is not implemented yet.

Lines

Shapes to print

Both arrive centered on the bed and sitting flat on it - centered across X and Y, bottom at Z zero - which is where a slicer expects to find a thing. There is nothing to move before printing. See solids and 3D printing for what makes a shape printable in the first place.

PDF support uses Free Pascal's library with its linking exception and library license. The application remains MIT.
